1962 Ford Falcon - 82k miles on the chassis, 8k on rebuilt motor
1962 Ford Falcon white
I have owned this Falcon for approximately four years. I have invested $7,500.00 into it in that time. The body is in great shape for it's age (so it does have blemishes and scratches) and has great lines with ALL of the original chrome. The chasis only has 82,760 miles. I put a new motor in it approx 8k miles ago. I have worked out a lot of the kinks that come with a 55-year-old vehicle. A list below of what work has been done in the last 8k miles. I have most receipts.
•Rebuilt motor, straight 6
•New CD player w/USB and four speakers
•New shocks
•New starter
•New brakes
•New wheels and tires
•New exhaust
•New heater motor
•New interior including: kick panels, carpet, sound damping mat, hat tray, door panels, seat covers (I think I have a new headliner you can have
•New rubber in all the windows.
•Flushed radiator
•Alignment
•And more.
Selling because we just purchased another vehicle and I am looking to start a new project this summer so it is just collecting dust. I am in no hurry to sell. Every surprise headache that has come up with older cars has been professionally handled by a professional mechanic.
