Half of the 40 Starsky & Hutch Gran Torinos I have sold have been shipped to Europe, one to Australia, two to Mexico, 4 to Canada and the rest around the United States. Up for auction is the 41st Starsky & Hutch Gran Torino that I have built and sold on ebay. It is a 1976 Gran Torino. It has confirmed 76,000 original miles on it. Beautiful RUST FREE body and floors. When I took off the rocker molding, I found perfect shiny paint underneath. Glass is in fantastic shape as well as the chrome. I had gotten the measurements and template of the last surviving Starsky & Hutch Gran Torino that still has the original paint from the original TV show. So the stripe is about as close as you can get to the stripe on the show. This is a southern California car and had sat in a garage for decades. That is why it has so little miles and zero rust. It had a stuck valve and that is probably why it sat for so long which did me a favor and kept it from getting miles on the car and wearing out. I did an upper end engine rebuild, valve job, new lifters, new timing chain, rebuilt carb. It runs very well, always starts right up. You could use it as a daily driver.
As with all my torinos, I put on new gabriel High Jacker air shocks. It has a nice dual exhaust on it that sounds deep and tough. The wheels are vintage slot mags, 15 x 8.5" on the rear and 14 x 7.5" on the front. Brand new hankook P275/60R15 tires on the rear. This car drives so smooth it's shocking that it is a 41 year old car. Doesn't rattle, shake or pull from side to side. But rather drive straight, stops great. The paint is one week old and shines like crazy. Of course it is the exact colors of the TV show cars.

Everything works except three things. The fan switch doesn't work and the wiper switch works but the wiper motor doesn't. I can see the FM light come on the radio when you tune in a station but no sound.
