I have had this car for about 9 years. I hate to part with it but I will be moving within a year and won't be able to take it along.
It has a non-original 302 motor and automatic transmission with overdrive. It starts and runs perfectly, with just the right amount of growl in the dual exhaust without being too loud.
The car is equipped with power steering and power brakes. The tires only have a couple thousand miles on them.
The car has only 94,xxx original miles and currently has no rust. There was some around the wheels in the past, but it was professionally and meticulously removed during the paint job about 10 years ago. The paint is excellent, although not the original color.The original color was a light Ford green.
The back seat was redone. The front seat has signs of yellowing but no cracks or tears. The interior needs a couple pieces put back on - they are included and just need new clips.
The top frame is in place as is the top motor. The top needs cloth and the top motor needs hydraulic lines replaced. I have kept it garaged so I had no need to replace the top.
This is a sharp, reliable, daily driver that gets looks and comments every time I take it out. You will not be disappointed in the condition of this car, but of course it is sold as-is.
I'm not in a hurry to sell it. I am familiar with all types of scams so please don't waste your time or mine. If you are in Northern California feel free to come and inspect it/drive it. If you need to have it shipped I will assist with logistics.
