1962 Ford Ranchero

Up for sale is my 1962 Ford Ranchero. It is a 100% turn-key daily driver that needs absolutely nothing. Powering this Ranchero is a 103HP 170 C.I.D inline 6 backed by a 3 speed manual transmission. The 3 speed column shifter works well, as does the transmission with no grinds, pop-outs etc. The Car has lived its whole life near Sacramento California so it has never seen desert temperatures, snow or salt. The car was purchased new in Roseville California, only about 10 miles from my restoration and repair shop.
The rims have been upgraded to 14" mustang wheels, so tires are much easier to find. All four tires are new. Brakes have been gone through and work very well. The engine runs fantastic and has also been painted and detailed, along with a carburetor rebuild and many tune-up items such as spark plugs, wires, points etc. The radiator and all rubber hoses are new. Suspension has had a few parts replaced and the truck drives very nice. No slop in the steering wheel and tracks straight down the freeway.
When the upholstery was being done, the car got a new heater core and all under dash vents/cables were rebuilt, lubricated and painted. The doors were taken apart and had new window run-channels installed along with wing window rubbers. Windows roll up and down smoothly and don't rattle.
All in all, this is a fantastic rust free California car that you could fly here and drive home. I have a clean California title in hand along with the white and blue license plates (the license plates in the pictures are for show only). This car cruises comfortably at 65 mph, never over heats and is ready for a new owner. All lights, indicators, buttons etc. work exactly as they should. Even the dome light and AM radio work properly. The car is quiet, rattle free, and very stock. Wiring is in great shape and has never been hacked into. All gauges read accurately and the car has proven to be extremely dependable.
