1956 F100 LWB 1/2 ton

1956 Ford F-100

1956 F100 Custom Cab, Big Back Window, Long Wheel Base. Both big back window and long wheel base are rare especially in a 1/2 ton. Bought it 10 years ago and have been working ever since. Planned to make it a good daily driver.
Moving up in my 70's now and think it is time I unloaded some stuff.Restoration was done about 10 yrs. ago.
Body was removed from the frame, repaired, painted and reassembled. Regret that I did not sandblast and paint frame.Running gear is from a 1981 F150. Following is list of changes:
C6 automatic transmission with Mustang floor shifter.
FRESH 351Winsor factory rebuilt motor from City Auto rebuilders, Dallas, TX. Less than 100 miles on it.
9 inch rear end. Think it is a 271/1 ratio. Geared for highway driving.
New brakes. Disk front. Shoe back. Power booster.
Toyota truck power steering sector.
Factory fresh air heater.
EVERY line and wire is new.
New oak floor in bed.
Seat is out of a Chevrolet truck.
Side mount spare.
New twin exhaust system.
Gas tank removed from behind the seat. Ford Ranger tank mounted under the bed front.
Front bumper and bumper guards are from an early model Ford Bronco.
Wheel covers are 1956 Ford Fairlane.
Paint is 7 out of 10. Not a trailer queen.
Windshield and door glasses are new. I broke the passenger door glass and vent glass. Caused by bad adjustment. Both door glasses need adjusting.
Door glass Chrome Vent Shades go with it but not yet installed.
Rear Bumper will be removed. I grew up in a Ford dealership my dad owned and the 56 F100 was what I learned to drive. The bumper is about the last thing I have from that dealership and want to keep it.
NEEDS: - - Gas gauge not hooked up. There is a new sending unit in tank. Speedometer not connected. Neutral switch on transmission - will crank in any gear at present. Windshield wipers not connected to windshield motor. Bed boards are wider than stock. Have necessary metal strips for stock installation.
NO RUST!!!!!!! Did I tell you that there is NO RUST!!!!!!!!!!!!
