Description:

1967 Ford Mustang Deluxe Coupe

I purchased this car about 2 years ago since I love early Fords with the intention of making it a good running driving car with a little Restomod character. While working on the car I found that it has some options that seemed to make it a bit more valuable and once I purchased a Marti report it documented the fact that it is a 1 of 3 car. The car is an original Lime Gold car with a Parchment vinyl top (I have only seen Lime Gold with black vinyl tops), a deluxe Ivy Gold interior (this means it has all the expensive interior options including the brushed aluminum trim, deluxe door panels, and factory upper and lower consoles, that cost over $2,000 reproduction), a 289 with C4 automatic transmission, Air Conditioning, Power Steering, etc. Since I am not interested in a restoration and do not want to modify a car that has excellent restoration value, I have decided to sell it and look for another car to suit my needs. This car is very complete but will need work to be a great restoration. It has all the factory parts that most people are adding to their cars in an effort to increase value or as wanted options. I have added pics to show what this car is supposed to look like.

New parts since I have purchased the car:

New larger Aluminum Radiator

New larger (1969) gas tank with new float and sending unit to read correctly on the gas gauge.

New underhood wiring loom

New battery

New alternator

New Monte Carlo bar and Export Brace

New brakes drums all the way around

New brake shoes and hardware

New Brake Master Cylinder

New Brake lines

What it needs:

There is rust in both front floor boards (typical with older Mustangs)

There is rust in the bottom of both doors (also typical, see pic)

There is rust in the rain gutters and around the back window due to the vinyl top (see pic)

There is a dent in the passengers quarter panel (see pic)

All sheetmetal is original to this car

The front bumper is missing, but I do have the brackets.

A new Hood, the previous owner purchased the car in high school and cut a hole in the hood and added a custom scoop (made of metal) to be cool.

This car sat for the last 20 years before I purchased it. It does run and drive, but I have only driven it around the block. It has a 4 barrel manifold and holley carb, but I have the factory 2 barrel intake and carb that goes with the car. This is a great car for a restoration project that will only increase in value. I have added a pic at the end that is the only one I can find that shows the factory colors of this car. Somewhere in this cars past a previous owner wanted a red mustang with black interior and tried to make this car in that image without consideration of its value. Don't let the opportunity to own a limited piece of automobile history pass you bye.
