1965 Ford Mustang fastback 2+2. Factory C code car. 81k Original miles. This car has one multiple car shows. Several years have gone into the restoration and preservation of this car. Less than 3,000 miles on the car since its restoration. This car is as original as you will every find... Factory A/C and power brakes. The A/C belt is currently unhooked. I assume the A/C system needs to be recharged only. Completely original and numbers matching low mile survivor. Numbers matching 289 2V motor, C-4 automatic transmission, 280:1 rear end, Motor Craft carburetor, ect.
The original interior is in near mint condition. Perfect headliner, carpet, and dash. original style factory mustang radio. The original seat upholstery is exceptional as seen in the pictures.. All electrical, gauges, and interior lights work.
Show quality complete bare metal window out paint job. The car was repainted under the hood, all jambs, and the complete trunk area. The paint was cut and polished to a show quality finish/shine. The car was re painted its original color of Rangoon Red. All vin numbers and door tags are in place. Five brand new 14 inch chrome Magnum 500 wheels and brand new tires (spare wheel and tire is new as well). Perfect re-chromed front and rear bumpers. New gas tank and sender. Very solid, dry, and rust free West Coast car. Super clean undercarriage. The original undercoating is in excellent condition. The car has been garaged the last 30 years.
Rebuilt motor and transmission. New battery, recently rebuilt/resealed original carburetor. All new belts, hoses, and fuel lines. New radiator, front shocks, and rear air shocks. The brake system has been recently rebuilt as well. New alignment, all bushings, tie rod ends, ball joints are excellent and have been replaced within last 10k miles. Steering is tight, the power brakes are excellent. The car does not leak or drip oil. The car runs, drives, and looks like new. The car needs nothing. I have tried to high light the main parts of the restoration/preservation, however there is much work that has been done that is not listed. One of the best investment grade fastback low mile survivor Mustang fastback on the market.
