This is a very fun & well optioned Fastback. Combine the wildly popular fastback body style with upgraded cubic inches and modern technology and it spells fun. It has a FiTech Fuel Injected 351 Windsor and a 4-Speed Transmission, this is a very fun & rewarding car to drive.

The body on this '68 is sporting an older but still quite presentable repaint in Wimbledon White. The paint shines nicely and from 20 feet is quite the looker. Get close though and there are numerous stone chips and some paint cracking. If you are looking for a no-guilt driver, this is it. If you want a show car she's going to need a new coat of paint. The floors were professionally replaced correctly done (butt-welded, not overlapped). Take a look at the pics, the undercarriage is nice.

Inside, this Mustang is quite original. Wearing its born with seat upholstery it still presents well but could used some freshening. The staples are all there so any work should be straight forward and easily done.

Under the hood the original 289 was tossed out and a 351 Windsor subbed in. This is one of the best upgrades you can do. The 351 adds 100 lb/ft of torque right off the bat not to mention the horsepower gains. It has been topped with a FiTech Fuel Injection system for easy performance tuning and reliability. It uses a handheld unit for programming. The power is good, not too much, but easily enough to put you back in your seat. The 4 speed trans shifts nicely and really comes into its own on a twisty road.

The braking is via Power Front Disc Brakes and the factory rear drums. The car stops reliably and predictably. With the upgraded power they are highly appreciated.

The tires and wheels were just installed. The fronts are 17 x 7's and the rears are 18 x 8's. The larger wheels and shorter profile tires allow a quicker turn-in and and more precise handling. They are right in the sweet spot with enough side wall to not be punishing but just short enough to eliminate the flexing of a large sidewall of a 14" & 15" tires. They look great and fit excellent with no rubbing.
