Up for sale is this 1956 short bed Custom Cab Ford F-100 this vehicle was once a nice old hot rod it's a bit tired, runs and drives but it's an old truck with original style suspension old style brakes. It was updated with it modern 302 V8 overhead valve engine, C4 automatic transmission. The steering column is also a bit loose, and could use rebuilding. The radiator appears to have a leak, an additional newer nice condition radiator is included with the sale. It's also equipped with a 9in ford rear end. The body is pretty straight, in nice condition. There is some previous bodywork in the top and drip rail area from the previous owner. I would assume there has been some rust repair up in that area from the past. The rest of the body appears to be very solid and very rust free. The floors, bottom of the cab, and doors look to be very solid. The bed is very straight and it also has a nice wood floor. It has an old set of vintage aluminum slot mags. The window cranks, regulators, hood hinges, and door latches are tired, the vehicle comes with an extra set of hood hinges. This Custom Cab is equipped with the rare option in dash radio with remote speaker above the windshield, electric windshield wiper motor and driver side door latch, as most all of the custom cabs were equipped.
