You are looking at a 1968 Triple Black manual transmission v8 powered Mustang! This car is in impeccable condition! The paint is nice and flat and near flawless and on a black car every flaw shows...look at the pictures I bet the paint job was Atleast $10,000! This car was originally a green c code 289 3 speed car according to the vin number.It Is Now Black with with modified 289 and 4 speed manual transmission.
The interior is also in excellent condition as is the convertible top! Tires and rims are in excellent condition also.
The engine has edelbrock aluminum head, edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold ! I don't know exact horsepower but I can tell you this car is extremely powerful! There is definitely a lumpy cam in her. Full length headers flowing through flow master mufflers! This car sounds and runs as good as it looks! The previous owner converted this car to have power steering and disc brakes! A lot of money was invested into this car! Whoever buys this car is gonna be very happy!
Under the car is also in great condition! Frame is nice and rust free! There has been repairs on the floor and torque boxes at some point...so now no work needed under the vehicle. Please look and zoom in on undercarriage pictures. This car is a Florida car so I'm guessing that's why it is in such nice rust free condition! The title shows it registered In Florida 7-10-03 with 38,914 miles...I was told by the owner it mostly sat in his garage as a black car in Florida was too hot for him to use regularly. The odometer still reads 38,914. I honestly have no idea of actual miles as odometer is not working but based on condition and what the previous owner told about it sitting in his garage most of the time I'm guessing there are not many more miles on it.
