This is a magnificently preserved, beautifully restored, low mileage 1966 Ford F-100 long bed pickup truck.It was purchased brand new in Billings Montana (dry climate) and remained in three generations of the same family that pampered and maintained it for 50 years! The odometer now shows only 63,773 miles which are the ‘Actual’ miles per the title. The body is absolutely straight and rust free.It was repainted in the original Rangoon Red several years back and a new red vinyl seat cover was also installed at that time.It is powered by a 352–2bbl that produces 208 HP with a 4 speed floor shifted transmission with a granny low gear.It runs strong and quiet and shifts perfectly.The brakes work great and stop dead straight.The steering is absolutely straight and tight with no wandering whatsoever.Emergency cables are brand new.The inside walls and floor of the pickup box were also just stripped to bare metal and repainted.Other recent work includes the installation of a new fuel pump, windshield rubber seal, new front & rear chrome bumpers, carburetor rebuild, four new Goodyear Wrangler tires, and a custom-fit heavy duty rubber bed mat to protect the newly painted bed.Everything on the truck works including the lights, wipers, gauges, heater, horn and even the original AM radio.Included with the truck are the original metal owner’s tag and owner’s manual, the original FoMoCo build sheet that was found inserted under the bench seat and a 1966 Ford Pickup dealer brochure. All of the glass and weather stripping are in very good to excellent condition.
