1973 Ford Mustang Convertible

1973 Ford Mustang Convertible Project. This is a stalled restoration of a nice car that someone has put a lot of time and money into. All the hard body work has been done and it has no rust except for some minor surface rust from sitting. The quality of the body work is very good, it was done and primed at least 5 years ago and there is nothing popping through or cracking in all that time. It is also very complete with most, if not all, the original parts included, also including some new parts. I have looked at all the parts and all of the major parts, except for the radiator, are included. This includes the grill, bumpers, front and rear lower pans, rear fender extensions, headlights and tail lights and bezels and trim. There are 2 pallets of parts of the small parts removed included with some duplicates as shown in the photos. The engine and trans were also rebuilt years ago (no paperwork) and the front seats have been recovered, has brand new door panels, and the rear seat is in very good condition. Needs a new top.The body is in very good condition and very straight. The body was stripped of all parts and thoroughlysandblasted. It appears that the trunk floor and part of the interior floor was replaced and refinished and they are rock solid. It also appears that the rear quarters and rockers were replaced or are excellent originals, I cannot tell. The doors attached to the car are decent but another pair of doors are included that have been restored that are rust free (including the bottoms). All the glass appears to be good. The front fenders have been repaired and restored. The front fenders were just set in place for the photos and were not bolted down or aligned. The hood is good. All the hard work is done. There are no dents, rust through, or areas that require major rework, just some minor surface rust from having been done 5+ years ago. It will, of course, need to be re-primed.I did not build this car but I have built a lot of project cars over the years and have never started with anything this clean, I just do not have time for it now. This is a great project that will not be costly to finish into a very nice car.
