Description:
1969 Ford Ranchero 500
NO RESERVE on this 1969 Ranchero in pretty nice shape. Originally an Arizona car so it has a real solid body with very little rust. Has AC but doesn't currently work. I have a new compressor in the box that will go with the car. The odometer currently reads 52010 but unsure if this is the original mileage. The car does appear to have at least 1 re-paint. Paint is probably a 6.5 out of 10. Not show quality by any means, but a nice driver for sure. Some surface rust beginning on the rockers behind the front tires and some surface rust on the floor pan behind the seat but no rust through's anywhere that I can tell. The car has been upgraded at some point to electronic ignition and I was told when I bought it that it has Windsor Heads but I really have no way of verifying that. With a little TLC, this car will make a great classic cruiser for a relatively small investment.
- 351 with Windsor Heads
- Automatic Trans
- Power Steering / Manual Brakes
- Nice Wheels / Tires are great
- New Carpet
- Nice Interior
- New Aluminum Radiator
- Dual Exhaust
- Starts right up and runs strong
The bad:
- Brakes need bled or adjusted - Shoes look ok. The car is drive-able but I would trailer it home because of this.
- Minor Tear in Drivers Seat bottom (seam).
- Drivers Side window trim is missing. It does show that it exists in the photo. I removed it because it was damaged and causing an issue when opening and closing the door.
The car is located in Northeast Lower Michigan and is for sale locally as well. I reserve the right to end this item prior to close of auction
