up for auction one of the most original restored 1929 U.S. postal trucks left. It was restored in the late 1980s, but set for several years before I purchased it The man who restored it {David Zimmerli} did massive research thru U.S. post office archives, ford archives, and York hoover body co. Lots of paperwork included. Turn signals added for safety, VT core in radiator for cooling, power inverter for gps new clutch less than 100 mils ago. I'm getting old and lots of back problems forces me to consider selling. Notice the 2 original WW2 posters {not repos}. In the 5 rears I showed it at the Texas state tours, and judged by MAFCA guide lines, I won best of show at all 5. Nice truck, but it needs a good new home. , From what I have been told, only 400 were made in 29 and 400 in 31 {on standard model a frame} $1000.00 unrefundable deposit within 3 days. will store till arrangement for pick up. clear Texas title in my name.
