1992 FORD MUSTANG GT CONVERTIBLE!This is the car that started my collection of Mustang's. I Bought the car in 2005 from the Original Owners in Thousand Oaks Ca. They ordered and recieved the car at Drew Ford on 5/92. Which explains the Color and Interior choice for a GT packaged car. Rare Combo.I bought the car with 64,502 documented miles and trailered it to Las Vegas where I started the Driveline Project. I wanted to keep the factory Fox Body Look but have a lot more power than stock.
ENGINE: Numbers Matching Block with new Roller Assembly.. 93 Cobra Intake Ported/Flowed to Match the Heads. Crane Cams Roller Assembly including Roller Rockers and Lifters Camshaft was built custom by Crane for the Heads/intake/SuperCharger and Stall Converter.. Ford Hi-Volume Oil Pump. MSD Ignition Parts. BBK Fuel Pressure Regulator to Control the Holley 255 Pump.. PowerDyne SuperCharger with Self Sealed Oil System.. $4900.00. Cooling is by FluiDyne Radiator with Be Cool 13in Fan.. Exhaust is all BBK to the Rear ( Not cut up) AEP Headers.. A/C is all re-done with new comp r134 RetroI HAVE over $9,000 just in the Engine not including the Polish work!!
TRANS/DRIVELINE: TRANS is Ford AODE ReBuilt by Competition Trans here in Vegas. The Shift Kit is Noticeable if your in the throttle hard! The stall converter is a progressive 2800-3100. Comes in smooth but also helps with the camshaft and brakes. Factory Posi-unit 8.8. Can be switched to 4.10 with No issues!
INTERIOR: COMPLETELY STOCK. Original Gt Interior ( Not Leather, ordered this way). Original Black Top with Grey Boot. Factory Stereo with EQ. Original Keys with Tags
PAINT: Factory Strawberry with Grey Bottom. 2000 Cobra R Hood manufactured by Cervini $600plus( factory hood will fit over the engine without the liner. If you remove the spacer on the intake, you don't have to remove the liner). If you live in any cooler climant than 100 degree's, I would put the factory hood back on!. The car was Clay Bar in 2011. Nose repainted in 2011. 4 rock chips.. One tiny dent right below the Antenna. Dent Guy est $100 to fix but I didn't want to hide it from the buyer.. The car sit's in my toy warehouse under a cover. Car wash service comes in once a month to detail my cars/trucks/boat.
WHEELS/BRAKES: Factory Pony Wheel's that match the bottom Grey color. I get more compliments on these wheels every Car Show by the Judge's. They are amazing. Ford triple color center cap. Tires replaced at 50k miles. Brakes were replaced on all 4 corner's last year. New spring kits and guide pins. New Brake Booster last year.
HISTORY OF THE CAR: this is a Well Documented West Coast Fox Body! I have all the Original Paperwork from the Bill of Sale/Sales Contract. Every oil change receipt and anything that was done to the car since it drove off the showroom floor on 6/25/1992. Interior and exterior was Granite Package by Ford. I drove to Ca in 12/2005, trailered the car home, and has been kept indoor ever since. The Previous owners were just as anal as I am.
