You are bidding on what is, to me, one of the coolest hot rods around. The professionally built rod was designed and assembled at Howard's Hot Rods in Florida. He started off with an Antique and Collectible Chassis and body (they make the top bodies).
It has a 355 Chevy which was built, dyno'd and super tuned by Carolina Engines. The engine features an Edelbrock 3 deuce intake with Super 7 carburetors. The car put out 350 HP and 400 lbs of torque.It also features a built 700R4 overdrive transmission and a Ford 9 inch Posi rear end with 3.55 gears. Braking was set up with 4 wheel disc brakes. Another great feature is the independent front suspension and 4 adjustable coil shocks which gives the car more comfort and handling. The exhaust was professionally assembled with an H pipe and goes out the rear. Also installed are exhaust dumps when you want to drive around with that gasser sound.
Other features include door poppers, completely finished trunk, high end stereo with USB port, power windows, and ice cold Vintage Air Conditioning.
The stunning red rolled and pleated red interior really sets off the beautiful red and black paint. The 24 Carat gold leaf striping is breathtaking.
To give that finishing touch to this old school hot rod I just installed new wide white wall cheater slicks and matching front tires with chrome smoothies.I have probably 50k in receipts for this build, and it shows. It was built not only for your local shows and cruises, but to hop in and drive.
