1964 Ford Galaxie 500 XL

***NICE CRUISER --- LOTS OF WORK DONE***

This is a Ford Galaxie 500XL in vintage burgundy metallic with black bucket seat and console interior. The owner asked me to list the car - we used to be in the same car club. He has owned the car since 2006 and only put about 1000 miles on it. He has decided to sell the car instead of letting it sit in the garage. The Z code 390 engine fires right up and runs nice. The automatic transmission has been rebuilt. The brakes have been done and the power booster is new. The power steering was rebuilt. Bumpers, irror and door handles were rechromed and the car was repainted. Trim looks nice and I didn't notice any dings. It has original FOMOCO fender skirts and original XL hubcaps. The interior has a new headliner and dash cover. Seat covers, oor panels and carpet are original. The owner had an upholstery shop install new foam in the seats and put the original covers back on the seats. It has a new gasoline tank. One turn signal indicator in the dash needs a bulb; the radio and clock do not work and the transmission lever or neutral safety switch needs adjustment as you have to move the lever to get the car to start. This Galaxie runs, rives and rides well. It would be a good cruiser. Email any question and if you'd like to see the car email for the owner's phone number.

Paint is driver quality - chrome has been done and the trim is in nice shape.
