1966 Mustang Fastback GT350 Recreation
1966 Ford Mustang
66 GT350 clone. Original 289. 4 speed top loader. Rebuilt engine, paint is in excellent condition. No rust, all original sheet metal. Period corrected 66 date coded Paxton supercharger. This car doesn't need anything. On Jun-07-17 at 18:51:12 PDT, seller added the following information:

On Jun-08-17 at 06:08:38 PDT, seller added the following information:
9 inch rear end. 5 leaf mid eye rear springs, Koni shocks, Traction Master Shelby traction bars, 3/4 inch front sway bar.
Drum brakes in rear, disc in front.
Jet Hot coated Tri-Y headers, 2.5 inch exhaust with flow masters.
Upgraded pistons a higher compression, 10-1.Cam shaft was converted to a roller cam as I didn't want to worry about adding zinc every oil change. Custom grindwith specs similar to the HiPo.
Changed the rocker arms to threaded vice pressed, installedroller tip rocker arms.
Paxton was purchased from CraigConnelly at Paradise Wheels, he is the industry expert on earlyPaxtons.Craig blue printed theHolley Carb that's on the car and set it up for thesupercharger. The SC is dialed in wellwithout any issues, drivability is excellent.
If for some strange reason you wanted to remove the Paxton, all parts are easily removable bolt on parts. I would probably use a different carb if I were to remove the supercharger.. I wouldn't remove it though, SC really wakes up the car and makes it that much more responsive, quite a bit of low end torque. Shelby estimated his supercharged 66 GT350's to be around 380-400, this car is set up very similar and I estimated it to be around those numbers.
Paint is sapphire blue, side scoops are functional and ducked. Hood is fiberglass with a steel frame. Hood scoop is functional.
Carpet and interior are in excellent shape.
This car is in excellent shape and has many first place car show wins, most recently the Hot Rod Magazine Editors choice award from the 2017 Ocala Mustang Round Up.
