Description:

1972 Ford Mustang

This is a rare car please see the marti report for specifics one of 1677 factory rain air H code cars produced. The car is in very restorable condition it has a small hole in front floor boards beside frame rails. Will need trunk drop offs and lower quarters and tail panel. Roof has some dents and hood is dented up. Looks like possible deer collision based on it has wrong grill in the front as well. Front and rear subframe are not rusted out and look very very good. Car has some minor rust issues obviously but its very easily restored. You wont find many of these for sale as they only made 1677 H code Mach 1 Ram Air Cars and this is a real one. verify the vin for your self and read the MARTI REPORT. I believe the original window sticker was also available on this oen thru MARTI AUTO for an additional fee. I put a battery in the car and the original numbers matching motor fired up but won't stay running car sounds good no smoke and no noise open headers on car. The original fmx tranny also operates it appears. We obviously didnt drive it but was able to check for movement of the tranny. A rare numbers matching car that need restored and is missing a few things but the base is here a 1 of 1677 ram air cars produced and only 1342 with this color and Deluxe interior and trim options. Please see the Marti report for all the details on this rare numbers matching unmolested car. You see it just as I got it from the barn. These fast backs are rapidly climbing in price. Car is for sale locally and I can reserve the right to end the auction if the car sells locally. I have little knowledge of mustangs so if your close come inspect the car in person all sales are final. IF you are a Mustang guy or gal, this is surely one to have as these Fastback's are gorwing in value and popularity quickly and finding a true numbers matching RAM AIR H code car wont be easy to do. Done this is a 35-45 thousand dollar car. according to Hagerty. Also interested in 70 73 camaros
