Description:
1967 Ford F-350
Up for sale is my 1967 vintage Ford car hauler. The truck has not been on the road for about 5 years. It was started every month to keep everything working. It was allowed to run till the temp gauge got to 180. The cab has been replaced with a 1970 Ford cab, same body style. The only difference is in the door handles. Has a FE block 352 engine with headers on it. Ran good the last it was out on the road and still sounds good. Back bed is full 1/4 steel plate. The loading ramps are stored under the truck behind the rear wheels. There is a trailer hitch on it so you can tow a dolly or trailer and move two cars. Just pulled it out and cleaned it up. Had installed a set of gauges under the dash. The amp meter is not hooked up. Has a 4 speed transmission. All the tires are good but old. Front are highway tread and I think on tubeless rims. Back are snow tires on split rims. I put 4 new flaps and 4 new tubes in them about 5 years ago.Body is good to fair considering the year. Floors have been repaired. There is rust at the rear of the cab. No major dents but it will need a paint job. I did not roll around under the truck to check everything out, too old for that. Has a 3,000 pound electric boat winch on it. I usually use a double pulley setup on it just for safety and have never had a problem pulling anything up on the truck. It has served me well. I have had the following cars on the truck, 1952 Chevy Belair, 1940 Buick coupe, 1983 Mercedes Benz, 1980 Ford F-150 pick up, 1934 Ford firetruck frame, a 1934 Ford fire truck body and a 1957 Ford retractable with two flat tires on the back. The winch pulled the all up, no problem.
If you are going to use it more I would think you would want to replace the winch with something better, but it works as is.
The mileage is a guess as I didn't go look at the truck and is pretty close. Not sure if it is original or not. Has less than 200 miles on it since the last PA inspection but that was in 2011. I have a clear title in my hand. Now to answer the question before someone ask, " can I drive it home". That depends. If you live with in a reasonable distance I don't see a problem with that. I never took it more than 30 miles from my home, so have no idea of how it is going to run on a longer trip. I would not recommend you drive it till you have it checked out to make sure that everything works properly. I will be going over the lights in the next week to make sure the all work, but I am not going to crawl around under the truck or pull the wheels and check the brakes or lines. If I were buying it I would have it towed if I lived any distance, then have it checked before I started to use it, but that's just me.
I welcome you to come and inspect the truck before you bid. Bring your mechanic or who ever you want and take a look at it so you know what you are buying.
I no longer need this truck which is why I am selling it. Haven't use it for 5 years, just taking up space. Truck is being sold "AS IS" Where is and it will be the responsibility of the buyer to pick it up at my location. I can not deliver.
