1982 Ford Mustang

Overview- This is an original 82GT Arizona car, stripped to a bare shell and built using a wrecked low mile 04 Mach 1 and 04 Cobra, every part & all wiring was transferred over into factory locations appearing as if Ford built this car. The intention and final result was a 82GT that has all the modern features and can be driven anywhere without worries with excellent performance,handling, and great gas mileage. ABS,AC, Traction Control,Keyless entry are all working, airbags were not installed. Currently the car has approx 10k miles on the restoration. Motor & Trans currently have 55,xxx miles. Averages 26MPG. Title is clear and original buck & door tags are in place. I've driven this car all over the east coast to shows and road trips, it has been featured in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords Magazine September 2014 issue and has won many awards at Car shows.
Body-Rust free from Arizona, all original body panels, painted original 1982 Silver 1G paint code with many coats of clear. Factory rear window louvers, all glass was replaced, headlights, every bolt on the car, NOS Hood Emblem & all weather stripping. Front fenders & fender extensions were modified for the Maximum Motorsports front suspension. 87-93 Power Mirrors. There is a few rock chips that have been touched up on the hood and some flex cracking on the lower front air dam from highway driving.
Interior- Complete 04 Mach1 swap, dash,seats, console, carpet,pedal assembly,cluster,headliner(dome light),rear seat, Mach460 stereo with 6disc changer, door panels were customized to look and function properly,floors were dynamatted, underside of floors were coated with bedliner & also inside the doors. There is zero road noise inside the car. There is one quarter sized mark on the lower section of the rear seat. Shifter knob is from a Cobra.
Drivetrain- 04 Mach1 Motor,JLT cold air intake, Ford Racing shorty headers, Bassani cartless Xpipe with MIL eliminators & Bassani Catback. Tr3650 Trans with Steeda TriAx shifter, MM clutch cable,Rear is 04Cobra IRS with 3.55 gears, all electrical is from the 04 Mach1 along with the electric fans and radiator,wiper motor, etc all mounted using exact spec to the Mach1. Gas tank & fuel lines are all from the 04Mach1. Engine bay was smoothed.
Suspension- Complete Maximum Motorsports kit, using their modular k member, a-arms, coil overs, caster camber plates, full length subframe connecters. Modified 04 front sway bar. Rear suspension is 04Cobra IRS with Coil overs. 04 Cobra Front and Rear Brakes with drilled/slotted rotors & hyrdoboost. Maximum Motorsports steering shaft and 04Cobra Rack. Wheels are 17x8 TSW Nurburgring 05-09 offsets with Nitto Invo Tires.
