1951 Ford Custom Coupe (Rare). Very nice Meadowbrook Green exterior with excellent period correct interior. Flathead V-8 with 3 on the tree manual transmission. There is less than 5,000 miles and the rebuilt engine and transmission. This is an all steel car with no rust. All chrome and stainless is in excellent condition. All glass looks OK. The front and rear side quarter windows have some bubbling in them. We believe they are original. There is no body damage or trim missing. It has factory hub caps and beauty rings. The tires are a matching set of Cornell 535 All-Season-Radials 205/75/15's that are 90% new. Factory options in 1951 included: Fender Skirts, Radio (tube type and works), Clock (wind up style and still works) and Heater which this car has. All options work as they should. The exterior paint is obviously a repaint and looks and shows well. I would call it above average Driver quality paint. The interior has been completely reupholstered and looks great. We have extra interior material that goes with the car. It is running on an 8 volt battery and adjustable voltage regulator. It was originally a 6 volt system that can easily put back to a 6 volt system with the installation of a 6 volt battery. Running an 8 volt system makes the headlights and interior light burn brighter, and helps the starter turn faster. This car belongs to an employee here at Brunson Auto Sales and is selling it due to health reasons. He has owned it for 2 years and knows the previous owner. I have personally driven this car and it rides and drives great. It sounds like a million bucks! It has 2 very minor fluid leaks. The first is a small leak where the shifter linkage goes into the transmission and the other is on the rear end by the inspection plate.
