Description:

1938 Ford Rat Rod

This is a 1938 Ford Truck shell on top of brand new everything. This is not only ahead turner, but is a fast, burnout leaving machine. It drives and rides extremely smooth. I can roll at 70mph on the Interstate and this baby is slick. No bouncing or jerking while driving it. It has a heater installed in the glovebox.Seat belts areinstalled. I have all of the receipts from the build. Some parts may or may not still be underwarranty. TheONLY reason I'm selling it is to buy a Ratrod that has rear seating.
Here are the notes from the builder-New build finished in September 2015. Frame up build with professionally welded chassis. Z'd front and rear straight axlefront, 4 link withpan hard bar in rear bolted to Ford 8.8reared. 3.73 Gears. ALLsuspension components are NEW. QA1coil covers in rear. Ride height is 3 3/4". ALLmechanical parts are NEW. No cost saved on parts. Firestone NDCC tires on 15" Smoothies from Coker. SW gauges that all work including mechanical speedo. Got anemailabout how it handles/drives/rides.
This is BY FAR the best riding custom I have ever owned. I've owned quite a few of old cars and trucks and they drivelike old and like crap. With oldvehicles, don't take your eyes off the road or both hands off the wheel. The steering sucks, shocks suck, vehicle is rattling, strange smells, etc! Thisvehicle is far from old.Everything but thetruck shell is NEW! It drives and rides like a dream. I canliterally drive 60-70 down the Interstate with one hand on the wheel and the other flipping people off (kidding, maybe) and the vehicle stays in it's lane no problem.
