We at Midnite motor Classics in Margate, Florida are proud to present AN OPPORTUNITY TO OWN this excellent 1956 Mercury M100 (Ford F100) Pickup Custom Street Rod This 1956 Mercury Pickup Truck / Street Rod is in fantastic condition, and it runs great, powered by a 350 ci Chevy crate motor mated to a 700R4 automatic transmission. Mercury pickups are rare to find, and this is a very nice example. Produced mostly for the Canadian market, the "M" series pickup was built between 1946 and 1968. They are in most ways identical to the Ford pickups, with Mercury badging and a little extra trim. This is a great conversation starter at shows and meets, and its also fun - and easy - to drive. Just turn the key and go. It has plenty of power, but it runs and drives like a "normal" truck when you're just cruising. It has power steering, 4 wheel power disc brakes, A/C and a stereo. Our price is realistic. You'll see trucks of similar quality priced much higher on eBay and elsewhere. We're not trying to catch anyone off-guard or insult your intelligence. This is a nice truck that's priced to sell. Please read through our description and look at all of the pictures. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Thank you for viewing our auction. Phone: 954-695-2873 (Ed) The exterior is very nice - no dents or dings, and the Pearl White paint shines all around. The paint work is not new, but it still looks great. Exterior features include chrome bumpers, running boards and Coker wheels and tires. The wood bed is in fantastic shape. The interior is also in excellent shape. No cuts or holes in the seats, no wear and tear inside and all. Nice carpets, new headliner, and really cool blue Ford seatbelts. Interior features include a leather-wrapped billet steering wheel, ididit steering column, Vintage air conditioning and heat, and a Sony Stereo. The gauges are from Omega Kustom. The ambient lighting looks even better at night... There is also a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo.... ...plus Vintage A/C and heat. The 350 ci V8 runs fantastic. This is a Chevy crate motor rated at 300 HP. Its neat and clean under the hood with an Edelbrock intake, billet air cleaner and valve covers, chrome headers and a lot more very detailed work. The motor is mated to a 700 R4 4-speed automatic with a 8.8 Ford rear end with 3.00 gears. Its all put together on a Mustang II front end with tubular control arms. The 15 gallon diamond-plate fuel tank is new. The odometer reads 273 miles, and it works. We believe those are the actual miles since the build, but we can't confirm that. If you'd like to inspect and test drive a vehicle, please call for an appointment. We do not keep regular office hours, and vehicles are locked indoors when we're not at the office.
