1968 Mercury M250 360 V8 4 Speed Manual. All original truck in very nice condition. Runs and drives. All Mercury emblems and tailgate are present. Very rare truck. Final year for Mercury trucks which were only sold in Canada. Most 68 Mercury trucks were re-badged as Ford's and fitted with Ford tailgates at the dealer but this one thankfully avoided that. Bought from the original owner in Canada and imported into the US. Clear California Title. Selling with No Reserve to the highest bidder.
This Mercury has excellent patina and has very minimal rust for an original un-restored truck. All the paint is original other than for an older repair done to the drivers side box side which was apparently done in the 70's due to a minor parking lot accident. All glass is in good shape with no cracks. The tires are good.
The original 360 FE V8 starts and runs good. The truck drives nicely and shifts real good. The clutch is excellent. The brakes work good. This truck only has 77,000 original miles on it.
The interior is all original and in good shape. There is obvious wear/damage to the drivers side of the bench seat but other than that it is very clean inside. The heater works and the gauges all work as they should.
Overall this is a very rare truck and about as good as you will find an all original 49 year old truck. An excellent basis for a full restoration or just drive it as it is.
