1976 Ford F-350 Wrecker

Up for grabs is 1976 Ford F 350 one ton with a Ready Build Wrecker Unit build in 1985 in Kansas City. I know because I watched it put on the truck. The truck has a 360 ford motor. I stuck a battery in it and the motor is free as far as I know, but the starter is not working properly. I believe the motor will run but it will need plugs and wires. Carb is Holley 4 barrel and is froze up. Has a 4 speed tranny with creeper gear. My father put a Detroit Locker Rear end in for winter pulling and it never failed us. The hood works but the hood frame would need to be replaced on both sides. The push bumper is still intac, we used it very little. The truck has rust issues as normal.
The Ready Built unit was built in 1985 new. When it was made it was the smoothest mechanical wrecker unit we ever owned with unbelievable power. In 1985 everyone was going Hydraulic's and this one would easily keep up with them by operation. Power take-off is still intact. Winch is a Barden's. Nothing was ever sold off the truck. I power washed The diamond plate and it's still in good shape, I was surprised. They used top notch metal.
Comes with an antique set of Holmes dollies dated about 1962 or earlier. (They came with our 1962 Chevy 1 ton with Holmes 400)
