1931 Ford Model A Slant Windshield Cabriolet- Late 31 indented firewall

Nice and very well maintain older restoration, very clean, runs and drives excellent. Correct brown interior with a tan topand boot included.Top is in excellent shape except for one very small tear on top of main bow(see photo).Tires are in fair condition. Rumble seat in excellent condition.

This car was recently purchasedout ofa private collection where it had resided for the past several years. Upon purchase of this car, it was gone through from front to back toprepare itfor touring and then driven.

This included:

-Gas tank flushed and new gas gauge with modern style neoprenefloat installed, so the modern gas will not affect it

-New upper and lower plate installed in distributor equipped with modern style points and condenser.

-New leakless water pump with sealed front bearing and new aluminum two bladed fan

-Oil changed and all grease fittings greased

-Play in steering column adjusted out and modern tube installed in end to prevent oil from leaking into light switch

-30 amp safety fuse installed

-All new soft woven brake linings installed front and back, front and rear drums turned

-Front wheel bearings repacked

This car is a pleasure to drive, over the past few months this car has been driven over 500 miles with no issues. Cruises nice at 45-50 MPH. The body is finished with the correct bronson yellow and seal brown colors. Paint is shinny and very presentable. Original front style shocks are installed, however rear shocks are missing. Stops great! Generator charges and all lights work. Equipped with cowl lights, dual taillights, and accessory step plates.

The Model A convertible cabriolet was one of Ford's most luxury models,it offered the advantage of having a convertible top and roll up windows. In 1931 Ford produced 11,803 cabriolets, howeverless then half of these were slantwindow's. Making the 1931 slantwindow the rarest of cabriolet's and very sought after model.
