Description:
1930 Ford Model A coupe
Up for auction is this awesome 1930 Model A 5 window coupe project. I found the body locally, and was said to be stored since the 50s. It had been chopped professionally in the 50s as well. The roof was filled but is a little warped in places. The door gaps are very nice and open and shut well. Only rust is in the lower cowl (both sides) and the lower rear inner wheel wells (both sides). When I got the body it had no title so I purchased a clear California title and plates from a friend. I put the body on a frame I had made for another project. The rear end is a 9'' and the rear bars are 1935 ford. the front is done suicide with a magnum 5'' dropped axle and split model A wishbones. The rear wheels are 1969 american racing with new Firestone 820-15 dragster cheater slicks. The front wheels are 15'' american racing magnesium 12 spoke spindle mounts with new 500-15 pro trac tires. The 32 style radiator and 32 grille shell are new items. Also included is a whole Model A deluxe interior kit with seat in green mo hair, and some misc. like a steering box, int window frames, rear spring, and some king bee headlight buckets. This thing has some nasty attitude and would look equally awesome nicely painted or with the patina. I had plans to finish this one but I have too many projects and not enough time or money:( i would rather see someone finish it than it sit here any longer. Title is on a non-op. If you are interested, I have a 1957 Pontiac 316 V8 that could go with the project. E-mail me with any questions or if you would like more pics. I'm a motivated seller and and would love to make a deal, no trades though sorry. Thanks!Vehicle Details:
