Description:

1933 Ford Model 40 Cabriolet

Great early V-8 Ford to enjoy as is or a perfect candidate for a complete restoration. The car has been converted to 12 Volt (12V) and starts, and runs much more reliably. Also it has been converted to hydraulic brakes as the car was originally mechanical, and those can be scary and temperamental. This fantastic little car starts, runs, shifts, and stops well. All original Ford steel body, no aftermarket here. The mileage is believed to be incorrect and I am unsure of the actual mileage, but compression tests 80-90 on every cylinder. Does have aftermarket gauges, shows great oilpressure andconsistently runs at 160-170 degrees. Tires appear to be new andhave no cracking, spare matches. Top does droop a tad, and should be a easy fix for your local upholstery guy, no tears, no rips.
These cars are impossible to find, and when they do pop up, are often to far gone to do proper restorations on. This is a great ultra rare early Ford that anyone should be proud to own. Please bid with confidence, as this car will not disappoint.
