1932 FORD 5-WINDOW COUPE - REAL HOT ROD
1932 Ford 5-window coupe
Advancing age coupled with declining health issues are making it extremely difficult to continue to drive my beloved1932 Ford 5-window coupe.I have owned this car for 57 years. It wasbuilt in 1960 & 1961 as a streetlegal "B" Altered drag machine. The body is channeled over the frame. It is not chopped. Theengine is a bored & stroked Olds engine with Isky roller cam, ported & polished heads with oversize valves, dual 4-barrel AFB's, & Vertex magneto. The Weberflywheel, 11" clutch, Muncie 4-speed trans, & Olds rear end with M/T slicks complete thedrive train. The interior has bucket seats, chromed original window moldings, oil, water, gas, ammeter, Auto Meter recall tach, self cancelling directional signals, and atelescoping steering wheel. A blue plexiglass insert replaced the original canvas & wood roof. The gas tank is a 11 gallon Moon aluminum unit. This car was registered, insured and on the road until recently. It has been a staff car at the annual Daytona Turkey Run for ten consecutive years. -It is not a show car or trailer queen by any means. But it is real piece of hot rod history. It does have plenty of patina. You can jump in and drive this car anywhere. I also have a complete history of this car dating back to 1959.As might be expected there is a reserve on this car, which I consider very reasonable.
