Description:

1931 Ford Model A

This is a once in a life time chance to own an amazing piece of history! This little roadster was built in the early to mid 1950's. then found it way to be stored in a basement for almost 50 years!
It is a 1931 Ford roadster channeled over a model A frame which has been slightly z'd in the back. it has a 1948 Ford Flathead 59Ab that was relieved and ported back in the day. It runs adjustable lifters, fenten heads and an Edmunds 2x2 intake with Stromberg 97s. It has a 1939 ford trans and runs the Model A rear. It has 1940 Juice brakes all around and the front suspension is all 1940 ford. It runs and drives as it should for suck an old survivor. I recently raced it at the Hot Rod hillclimb in Colorado and it did great!.
When I got it it was exactly as pulled out of the basement. I went through all the brakes, reassembled the engine and made sure it was running and driving as safely as it could be. I was very careful to not change or alter anything that diddnt need to be. This car is a nut and bolt survivor from the early 1950's.
It has an Edelbrock hand stamped fuel block on it which is a pre war hot rod part, so who knows when it was started being built or how it found its way to the basement in northern IL.
The car is located near Milwaukee WI please call for more info. 414-455-6164 I reserve the right to end the auction at any time as the car is for sale locally. I might be interested in full or partial trades. interested in vintage cars and motorcycles. Mostly pre war Fords.
Thanks!
