1972 Ranchero
1972 Ford Ranchero Squire
Hello guys here is a chance to own a rare Ranchero, I bought thistruck from the 2nd owner, This guy was a real Ford guy and he knew what he was doing, I was told by him that the top end of this car is a Cobra Jet and that he installed it himsel, I was told that this truck had power that was unreal, I encluded pictures of the heads that show the numbers, I don't know that much about these engines like the 2nd owner, I have taken 2 videos of the Ranchero, there no serious rust issues, I was also told that it spend all of it's life in AZ,I bought it there and trailered it to Southern California where it is not under a cover out of the weather, I will answer all questions you have for me, I have what I believe is the CJ Carburetor it is a Holly stamped Motorcraft, I have the intake manifold I am not sure if it's the original I believe it is, this Ranchero is mostly stock, it does have an aftermarket intake on it now but the 2nd owner gave me the intake manifold that came off the motor. The front suspension is all new, The motor does not run I was going to restore this Ranchero but I have too many projects and have to sell it my loss your gain please ask any questions you have, also have the original air cleaner, I can help with shipping, The Ranchero is at my Trucking company, I can load it onto any car trailer with a forklift with out doing any damage and can also help with posting it on the car haulers website for no fee. good luck and happy biding, Leo 909-233-5341. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RPnGERzWZ0

I have been asked many times for the numbers on the heads they are D2VE-A2A. There is a number on the block where the starter is once I removed the starter that number is DIVE-A28, I also checked out the NADA on this ranchero is 11K, Remember guys Ford Motor company did not make that many N code Ranchero there was less then 300 made and they only made them for 2 years. I checked here on Ebay and this is the only 429 N Code Ranchero on here, This Ranchero is rust free clean body unlike most back east cars that need floor pans and quarters this Ranchero once restored like all the R code Mustangs that go for 75K and more this Ranchero will be right up there like all them rare Mustangs and Cougar's Torino's ect.

I have to correct something they made less then 300 of these each year that they were made. I know that there was in 1970 294 Ranchero's 429'S Made. I also know that there were not too many 429 Ranchero's made less then 300 per year. I am waiting for the full Marty report to come in the mail. I will share it will all bidders once I receive it.
