1913 Ford Model T
1913 FORD MODEL T SPEEDSTER - PARADE & CAR SHOW CROWD PLEASER EXTRAORDINAIRE!
THE FORD MODEL T HAS BEEN NAMED "THE MOST INFLUENTIAL CAR OF THE 20th CENTURY!"
AND HERE IT IS IN WHAT IS PERHAPS ITS MOST CROWD-PLEASING FORM...AS A BELOVED "SPEEDSTER"!!
LOCATION: Blairsville, A...approximately 100 miles north of Atlanta.
BACKGROUND...though the Model T was the first vehicle to be mass-produced on a moving assembly line with interchangeable parts...it didn't take long for people to "individualize" theirs in ways to make theirs different. One of the most popular customizations was to convert the Model T into a "Speedster".
This particular example has become a bit famous in northern Georgia due to its crowd-pleasing appearances at local car shows and parades. Age seems to have no bearing on the appreciation of this car...everyone smiles!
SEE THE VIDEO...be sure to take a look at the video link above. It will show the engine running. It has an electric starter...but once warmed up...it also started with about a half-turn of the crank. We tried to take it for a little ride during the photo-session, ut the engine kept quitting...so be prepared to do some tune-up or other work as needed. It has successfully been driven in local parades.

INVESTMENT POTENTIAL...MODEL T Speedsters have been among the most desirable of the Model T family for decades, nd this affection for these early customs has an assured future.
MAKE NEW FRIENDS - THE SPEEDSTER BRIDGES THE "GENERATION GAP"...it's a funny thing. Kids today will see this in a Parade and immediately stop whatever they are doing to smile and wave. They may not know what year it was made...or even the make...but they DO know that it's VERY OLD and VERY COOL!

Please note that I have had 2,580 eBay transactions with 100% Positive Feedback and have sold classic cars to happy eBay customers in Brazil, weden, witzerland, rance, ermany, ustralia, ussia, anada, apan, nd throughout the United States.
ODOMETER NOTE...there is NO odometer! Mileage is totally unknown!
IMPORTANT FINAL REMARKS & CONDITIONS OF SALE...the Buyer will receive a Notarized Bill of Sale and the current State of Georgia Registration Document. (Note: the State of Georgia did not begin titling automobiles until 1962, herefore, O vehicles of a model year prior to 1962 have Georgia Titles...instead, "Non-Title" Registration is issued after ownership is proven, nd the Registration document becomes the state-issued ownership document for the vehicle).
NOTE: From research we have done, ord never produced a Model T "Speedster"...all "Speedsters" were early customizations of Model T cars. Therefore, e cannot attest to the date of manufacture of the individual components. The State of Georgia has registered the car as a "1913 Model T RD" (RD is a common DMV abbreviation for "Roadster") with a VIN #19383. The exact model year for Model T cars can be difficult to determine, nd we are relying solely on the Georgia Registration data.
Though significant dollar investments have been made to make this 1913 Model T Speedster a proven crowd pleaser at Car Shows and Parades...it remains an 102-year old vehicle with 102-year old design and technology. As owners of all Model T's cars well know...even the best restored examples will need repairs from time to time, nd often without notice. Exact model years can also be difficult to determine - especially with Model T Speedsters which - by definition - are modified cars. Therefore, his sale is strictly on an as-is and final basis with no warranties or liabilities expressed or implied.
Every effort has been made to present this antique car completely and accurately to the best of our knowledge and resources, ut errors and oversights are possible. Therefore, re-purchase examination of the car (if desired) is welcomed before the listing's end and can be easily arranged by appointment.QUESTIONS?
