1931 Ford Model A WILLYS OVERLAND WHIPPET

Up for auction is this Willy's Overland Whippet four door sedan. Just out of a long storage, this car was once restored and has always been cared for, No rust ever!!! Please read carefully, this car is not running but does start and run when gas is poured directly into the carb. We put a new battery in and it turns right over, lights, gauges and horn as well as vacuum wiper all work. Even the gas gauge on top of the tank in the rear works. We replaced tubes in two of the tires and all 5 hold air. Brakes work and are mechanical, steers and rolls nicely. Paint is old but shines nicely but has some flaking as is pointed out. The roof is near perfect. Nice glass and chrome. Tires are in decent shape. The interior appears to be original and of course is showing it's age but does not appear to have ever had any leaks and I truly believe this car has always been stored in doors. Frame, floors everything is clean and nice on this 85 year old car. Now to this auction. We have what we feel is a modest reserve, don't ask what it is, just bid what you are willing to pay. If the car does not sell it will become a project here but we first wanted to give someone an opportunity to buy it since this car is so nice. IT WILL NOT BE ON eBay AGAIN. The car is sold as is where is with no warranties expressed or implied. It may be removed from the auction if we should have a local buyer but once reserve is met it will sell on eBay, NO EXCEPTIONS.
