1969 Ford Mustang Base Convertible w/GT Mods./Options

This 1969 Mustang convertible GT Tribute 'resto-mod' is tastefully done in a Sunlit Gold exterior color with a black hood and power top and interior all with numerous upgrades to what was an original condition West coast car for which I have the Marti Report showing authenticity. The car has tons of curb appeal and handles like a Mustang should when it is driven. I have driven the car as a daily driver this summer since I traded cars with my brother-in-law in May of this year (he is the one who owned it since 1986 and finished a complete restoration on it in 2004). He wanted a Porsche 911 which I had. When I drive this Mustang it gets lots of attention and positive approval including a couple car shows I took it to earlier this summer. I want to be sure you know this car is not a show car or a restored original GT, but it is a nice quality private owner restoration of a base model that has been upgraded to owner tastes! Currently showing on the odometer are 75,500 miles which are believed to be correct mileage. I do have the Marti report documenting the cars options and production which I will show in one of the pictures. It originally came with lime gold paint and an Ivy interior, PS, PB, front disc brakes, tinted glass, Power Top, intermittent windshield wipers, and 2.79 rear gearing in an unlocked 8" differential.
During the car's restoration it was upgraded with a 351 Cleveland 2V rebuilt motor and FMX transmission (low first gear version), Wilwood front 4-piston brakes, CJ hood scoop and chin spoiler, sport mirrors, with 17" polished Centerline wheels with 245/45-17 tires. The body was restored in the Ford Sunlit Gold exterior color and the hood and scoop are black. It has a new black convertible top with glass panel, new black interior with a wood wheel and tunnel hugger console, and GT interior door panels. The engine has long-tube headers with an Edelbrock intake and HEI ignition and other upgrades as shown, it burns no oil and runs plenty strong. When I got the car this summer I added to the upgrades it already had with the following: a full custom exhaust complete with SS mufflers, a new Edelbrock 750cfm carb, new air cleaner, new alternator and transistorized voltage regulator, Global West sub-frame connectors, SS gas tank and sending unit, Drake gas cap, 4-row aluminum radiator with a HP water pump, electric cooling fan and a cooler for the transmission.
This car runs good, looks good, and drives/sounds good! A solid investment car you can enjoy driving. I have several pictures of the car exterior, interior, chassis, suspension, and engine bay to show what it is. IF you have questions call me and I will give you an honest answer. I make no guarantees or warranty on the car, it is sold 'as-is and where-is' and shipping from my residence is the buyers responsibility. My terms of sale are $1000 down payment within 48hrs of sale via PayPal and the balance within 7days via certified check or wire transfer. I will not send the title to the car OR release the car to the buyer, their agent, or their shipper until all funds have been cleared and verified. Thank you for your interest, its a great car that is a lot of fun to drive around.
