For sale is 1936 ford pickup rat rod. Cab is chopped, sitting on 1971 gmc chassis. Chevy 350 motor with aluminum heads, intake, holley 650 carb, headers, aluminum radiator, electric fan, mini starter, mechanical fuel pump. 700r4 transmission, Dana 60 rearend with 410 gears. Aluminum gas tank and battery box mounted in truck bed. Old sun tach 2, typical 3 guage setup for water temp, fuel, oil pressure. Hurst mega shifter. No door glass, Geo metro bucket seats, pontiac grand prix tilt column. New front tires, rear should be replaced soon. Titled as a 1971 Gmc pickup. Now the bad, we have driven this vehicle for six years now and it always is garaged. We left one day with it sitting outside and when we were away it rained. The air cleaner has a little gap around the nut and served as a good funnel for the water to go down the carb. Got home to find the vehicle hydro locked. Got the water out. (2 cylinders) When I put the plugs back in and started it, it had a knock. Only ran for about 15 seconds but I knew something was wrong and shut it off. A rod bent or broke and put a hole in oil pan. Planned on just throwing a stock motor in and fixing this one but never got around to it. Tired of pushing it in and out of garage. Always drove well and put many miles on it. Drove it 2 passes at a local dragstrip one day and it ran 12.60. Selling as is. Box is homemade. All lights work just fine. I see master cylinder is leaking a bit out the back.
