For Sale is a 1983 Midnight Blue Ford Mustang GLX Convertible with the 5.0L HO V8 Engine and Manual transmission. The Mustang was my Dad's toy. He purchased the car in Texas in 1988 with 40,000 miles. After 28 years the car now has under 57,000 miles! He only drove the car on sunny days and immediately washed it and covered it in the garage when he was done. After 25 years my Dad passed the car on to me. Unfortunately I don't have the time to enjoy the car the way it deserves and it is taking up needed space in my garage.
The car is in excellent condition for it's age. Everything is original. The engine runs strong and sounds great. There are no known mechanical issues or any warning lights present. The interior is very clean with no tears or cracks in the seats or dash. The convertible top works great. The midnight blue paint is in good condition but it is showing some age. There are small rock chips in the lower panels. The paint on the trunk shows small cracks under the surface. There a few spots where someone touched up the paint in the past.
Overall this is a great example of the 1983 Mustang Convertible with the 5.0L V-8. This car will make the new owner very happy.
