Description:
1936 Ford Other
Here is a once in a lifetime chance to own a highly desirable Ford 3 window coupe. It is a local car that was hot rodded in the mid 50's and painted gray. The owned installed the custom red and white interior at the same time. Around 1963 it was sold and in 1965 it was sold again. That is when the new owner installed a fresh 59a flathead because it had more power than the 21 stud. It is a Ford block bored to 3 3/16. 1000 miles on rebuild since February 1965. The car was his pride and joy. In 1976 the axle was snapped and the car sat under a lean-to for 36 years until I bought it. I made it roadworthy and functional. I have owned it since October 2012. I don't want to really modify it and I don't have the time or space to keep it. I got it out today and it started right up and I drove it around and took these pictures and video. The whole story is on the hamb of me buying it and making it run and drive. The whole story of my 1936 Ford 3 window coupe "barn Find" and how I am preserving it
We had it at back to the 50's in 2013 and it was a huge hit! We had people chasing us down to get a look at it while our family cruised the show grounds.
Keep in mind it is unrestored. It works as it but it will need tires if you plan on driving it much. They are bald but do not leak. It has mechanical brakes still. Windows roll up and down, passenger side is cracked. New felt on back window and it works. New runner on windshield. Original roof insert with sealant on it. Radio powers up but no sound.
It is titled in my name, insured and registered.
Here is a short video walk around and a quick drive:

Please watch the you tube video to see the condition of the car. The car had rust repair done in the 50's and I made the left side floor patch. The rear pan has rust also as seen in the video. It has rust and was driven 100,000 miles.
If you want to see more I can take more pictures if you ask.
