I'm selling my 1979 Mustang Pace Car project. It's a numbers matching factory 5.0L with a 4-speed which would make it the most desirable combination you could get. That also makes it 1 of 2,402 out of 10,478 total pace car replicas produced. The car was repainted in the 90's without the graphics. It's a one family owned local Long Island car all it's life. It runs & drives although it has been off the road since 2002. The car is straight, never been hit, and has 89k original miles on it. It does have some rust in the usual areas you would find on cars this age. This is a real deal pace car with "48" in the VIN and matching "500" buck tag. I have a clean NYS title in hand. I have the car for sale locally as well and reserve the right to end this auction at any time. $250 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auctions closing. The balance is due within 7 days of auctions closing and can either be cash or cashier's check only. If paying with a cashier's check, the funds would have to fully clear before the vehicle leaves my possession. The buyer is responsible for any pickup/shipping arrangements and expenses.
