This 1976 F-250Factory Highboyis a unique find. It has the very rare “full time 4WD” option from Ford. I am the second owner of this truck. The original owner lived in Utah and ordered this truck from his local dealer with full time 4WD, factory air conditioning, and the XLT trim package. It is uncut, unadulterated, and strictly original. The factory 360 cid V-8 and C6 automatic transmission work perfectly, but are 40 years old and will need attention at some point in the future. The air conditioning was not working when I purchased the truck, and I have not spent any time or money repairing it. The original compressor, condenser, and all components are still in place. The body had some rust in the typical places, but is generally straight. There is rust on the bottom of the bed and in some places it has rusted through. I purchased the truck with the intent of a complete restoration, but have too many projects and am not able to give it the attention it needs. It runs and stops fine and it has been used on the ranch for general transportation.
I have another Factory Highboy that is a daily driver and know how rare it is to find an original, uncut specimen. This truck deserves proper TLC and it will appreciate in value the rest of its life.
