I BOUGHT THISF350FROM A CAR AUCTION I ATTEND WEEKLY. THE F350 WAS SITTING SINCE MARCH TILL I PURCHASED IT A FEW DAYS AGO. WHEN I WENT TO GO TURN IT ON IT DIDN'T START BECAUSE THE BATTERIES WERE DEAD FROM SITTING SO LONG. I DIDN'T WANT TO CHARGE THE BATTERIES BECAUSE I STRONGLY BELIEVE THESE DIESEL TRUCKS SHOULDALWAYSHAVE STRONG HEALTHY BATTERIES ON THEM ALL THE TIME SO I PURCHASED 2 BRAND NEW BATTERIES. AFTER INSTALLING THE 2 BATTERIES THE TRUCK START INSTANTLY AFTER THE GLOW PLUG WARMED UP. I DIDN'T EVEN SPRAY STARTING FLUID OR HAVE TO TWERK ANYTHING... IT WAS GREAT!!! THE UNDERCARRIAGE CLEAN & SOLID WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT ON THESE OLDER TRUCKS. IT IS HARD TO SEE THESE F350 DUALLY WITH THE 5 SPEEDAND TO ACTUALLY SEE THEM IN CLEAN & GOOD CONDITION IS EVEN HARDER.
I PERSONALLY DROVE THIS TRUCK 20 MILES ON THE HIGHWAY DOING BETWEEN 50-60 MPH FROM THE AUCTION TO OUR LOCATION! IT DROVE PRETTY GOOD AND I WAS IMPRESSED HOW WELL IT HANDLED. I DIDN'T NOTICE TILL I GOT TO OUR LOCATION THAT 3 OUT OF THE 6 TIRES OF DRY ROT ON THE SIDEWALL WHICH IS DANGEROUS BECAUSE GO FLAT OR POP AT SUCH FAST SPEEDS. SO I SUGGEST THE NEW BUYER TO REPLACE THOSE 3 TIRES OR ALL OF THEM. SEE MY PHOTOS SO YOU CAN SEE THE CONDITION OF THEM.

* I HAVE LOOKED FOR RUST ON THE BODY AND DID NOT FIND ANY RUST ON THIS F350. ROCKERS, BOTTOM EDGES OF DOORS, BOTTOM EDGE OF TAILGATE ARE ALL CLEAN.

* THE UNDER CARRIAGE IS SOLID AS YOU CAN SEE FROM MY PHOTOS.

* THE CHASSIS HAS BEENREINFORCEDAS YOU CAN SEE SO IT CAN TAKE ON A HEAVY LOAD

* THE TIRES HAS SOME THREAD LEFT BUT I NOTICED 3 OUT OF THE 6 HAVE DRY ROT ON THE SIDEWALL.

* NEW BUYER SHOULD CHANGE THE FUEL FILTERS BECAUSE THE F350 WAS SITTING FOR 5MONTHS BEFORE I BOUGHT IT

* AS YOU KNOW THESE F350 CAME WITH 2 FUEL TANKS. THE REAR TANK WAS DELETED ON THIS F350

I FORGOT TO MENTION THE PASSENGER REAR DOOR IS MISSING THE INTERIOR PANEL AND IS ALSO MISSING THE LATCH ON THE DOOR THAT LATCHES & LOCKS. THEREFORE IT DOES NOT LATCH TO THE LOCK. I PROVIDED SOME PHOTOS BELOW TO HELP UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM REFERRING TO. YOU WILL NEED TO BUY A NEW LATCH BECAUSE ITS MISSING ON THIS TRUCK.
