For sale is a 1969 Mach 1 428 cobra jet R code mustang that my father and I have owned for around 8 years. A reputable restoration shop has completed the bodywork up to this point (from what I can remember they replaced both quarters, passenger door skin, and some other small areas that needed attention). This car has had a lot of money put into making it solid and structurally sound. But, as you can see in the pictures, the shop applied body filler in some areas which I have pointed out with the ruler to the best of my ability.

The Marti report for this car (see picture) shows this was a factory candy apple red car, a 4 speed close ratio manual transmission, 428-4v CJ Ram Air, San José built, dark red interior with 3.50 traction-Lok axle ratio.

The inner body is seam sealed, primed and sound deadened (see pictures). The rear end has new leaf springs, shackles and bushings (see pictures). A front suspension kit has been purchased and partially installed so the care can be rolled. All parts from the kit are included (the old front suspension components will come with the car as well). The car also has new steering components all of which were purchased in the last year (not installed). All exterior body panels in the pictures come with the car (not all items are pictured, ebay only allows 24 pics). The hood, front valance, rear valance, and stone deflector are good quality reproductions that were recently purchased (the hood does not have the shaker cut out) but this car did come from the factory with a shaker.

Also, included with the car are the old disassembled front disk breaks and rear drum breaks (these parts are aged and some components may be missing due to parts being in storage for some time), passenger side, driver side, and rear window glass are also included. A good bit of interior parts are still with the car. It comes with the center console, which is in pretty good shape, complete Mach 1 high back seats and various other interior components, wiring etc. (see pictures). A master body exterior hardware kit will come with the car as well as various other small parts that can be seen in the pictures. The factory engine and transmission are long gone, the front passenger floor pan needs to be trimmed in the front and welded for a flush fit (see pictures). There is also a bolt-hole in the firewall that needs to be mended, a rust hole on the passenger side dash support (see pictures) both doors have rust holes in the bottom close to the hinge area, a dent in the driver side quarter panel that happened while it was at the shop (the dent is not significant and was partially filled with body filler (see pictures) and the driver side tail light cutouts appear to have some bondo on them to round out the cutouts (see pictures. I did my best to get pictures of each large body panel to show any dings in them and they all seem like they can be easily addressed in paint prep. The car has had a coat of gry primer put on it to cover any exposed metal (see pictures).
