1948 Ford F-2 pickup Project Truck or Donor!!
Truck sat in a barn for many years unused. Bed wood is gone and rust apparent along bed side panels. Limited rust in other places but overall a very solid truck. Engine is the original 6 cylinder and turns over by hand. I have not tried to start it so condition unknown. Transmission and rest of drive train is also original and appears to be in working order. Tranny shifts from gear to gear and truck rolls and steers as it should. There is no interior or fuel tank. Brakes do not work. Tires hold air OK.
This could become a very good truck with limited body work or if could provide many donor parts for another truck being restored.
There isno title so bill of sale only. No warranty and truck is sold as-is so ask questions before bidding.
I can assist in loading the truck for shipment if needed. If delivery is in general vicinity of north Texas, I could deliver at extra charge but negotiation would be necessary to establish that price.
I am sorry I do not know a lot more about this truck other than it is said to be a Texas farm truck all it's life. It is very much as I bought it with the intent of rebuilding it but I have too many other projects to get started on it and I need the floor space in my shop.
