Auction Winner will receive: This Very Nice 1965 Ford Mustang 2 door coupe Hardtop. It is powered by 289 cubic inch engine with an automatic transmission.
This is an original southern car from Virginia, then spent 16 years in North Carolina 1999-2016. I purchased this car in May of this year. The car is a very nice driver starts every time and drives nice. the manual steering and brakes work good.
Since I bought this car, I have rebuilt the doors with new latches, locks, handles inside and out, arm rest, plus new panels. The drivers door needed a new scissor lift mechanism and rollers. It works like new now. The passenger door just needed new rollers on the window.The car has a new dual exhaust system from engine all the way back, welded together. I chose the mufflers with a little rumble to them. The chrome tips on the ends are screwed on for easy replacement.The tires are new B F Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter tires.The car was running hot so I replaced the Radiator with a new 3-core Aluminum one with all new hoses, clamps, and added a shroud. Engine runs 160 degrees now on hot day.I replaced the u-joints in the drive shaft since I lost some needle bearings on way home from North Carolina ( took the drive shaft out so I could pull car home with a tow dolly )The brakes are manual and perform well. The car has drum brakes. The steering is manual with all new tie rod ends, center link, and idler arm.The interior is in good condition new dash, sun visors, coat hooks, door panels, door handles, window handles.There is No warranty since this is a 51 year old vehicle but I wouldn't be afraid to drive off on vacation now since I've fixed most all that was wrong.I reserve the right to cancel auction at anytime for the vehicle is for sale locally.Message me to come see this very nice car.
