Description:

1931 Ford Model A

We at rotten Leonard's Jalopy Shop in Lewiston Idaho built this speedster this spring utilizing a running chassis cast off from a local's hot rod build. It runs and drives great. All stock running gear including the 3 speed crash box and mechanical brakes.
We have upgraded it to 12 volt negative ground using one of our Stealth Alternators, also we installed one of our Hallock Style windshields, Rotten Leonard style Bomber Bench Seat, and also one of our Leonard Speed Equipment Fuel Tanks. We put this together for a local car show......mission accomplished, time to sell and move on to our next bit of distraction (happens easily around here) The car was built for fun and while it came out nice it is defiantly not show quality, there are a few scratches from putting it together while the paint was still soft. The paint is just equipment enamel and I can throw in the remainder paint which is enough to paint it a couple more times.... The tires are brand new from Coker, we ran it about 50 mph for about 30 miles and it drives about as nice as a Model A... Pretty fun though! The Engine Starts Very easily, has good power, and doesn't smoke at all. The transmission shifts really easily. The Speedometer should work but the day before the show I couldn't get the cable to screw onto the back of it and I was out of time so I just let it go and haven't gotten back to it. If you have any questions or would like to see pictures of anything in particular let me know. Glad to help The vehicle is sold as is and shipping is up to the buyer. we are happy to help load it. The State of Idaho assigned a VIN number on it and titled it, assigned titles in Idaho always carry a brand that expires after two years from the issue date.
