Very nice, and RARE 1960 F-100 Shortbed Restomod that has gotten a lot of work done to it!
The following is a summary of this nice little gal:
• 351 W engine with tons of power
• Redone interior
• Newer Autometer gauges
• Ravelco anti-theft device
• Pioneer sound system (CD/MP3 player, two 6" door speakers)
• Power windows installed
*RCI Fuel cell installed in the bed (New RCI Fuel Sending Unit - though, I think it needs the grounding wire installed).
Just got lots of upgrades (from High Street Auto in Fremont) and have receipts for all of the following...
*Freshly rebuilt heads with new valves
*New Edelbrock Performance 4 barrel Carburator w/ new lines
*New Edelbrock Performance Intake Manifold
*New Edelbrock 14" Air Cleaner and filter
*New Timing Chain and Gear Set
*New gaskets all around
*New Ignition Coil
*New Ignition Wire Set
*New Water Pump
*New Vacuum Advance Module
*New Motorcraft spark plugs and new wires
*New Interstate battery from Costco
*New oil, filter and coolant
*All new tires (215 60 15 in the front 255 60 15 in the rear), though not reflected on pictures - just got them on today!
As you can see, a lot has been done to her, although it will still need some work here and there. Paint and some body work was done by previous owner and is decent, but not top quality. Two small areas on the bottom rear ends of the cab itself will need to eventually be sanded and repainted, as some rust bubbling is showing (can provide pictures as needed), however rust is not an issue overall throughout this truck, which is rare for something this old! Small dent on driver's side, some paint chips and scratches throughout, some chrome showing light fading and spiderweb cracks). However, I don't think it would take more to make this a truck you can show off at local car shows! Passenger side wiper needs to be connected or replaced (swivel arm was disconnected), although driver side wiper works just fine! No power brakes. Heater box has been removed, but I have it and will be included in sale, along with tons of receipts of previous owners' work done to it. *Not actual mileage
It will eventually need to have the steering gear box replaced or rebuilt, but it drives ok right now (No power steering). She is my daily driver, though!
This truck would look awesome if lowered!
