1977 f150 cab on a 1996 F250 2WD 7.3L Powerstroke diesel chassis.
Runs and drives good. 23-25PSI of boost in 3rd gear.
New: starter, alternator, flywheel, clutch, rebuilt zf-5, brakes, wheel cylinder, calipers, rebuilt turbo, resealed intake plenums, batteries, fuel pump, filters, oil... im sure im missing some.
Boost(autometer), pyrometer(autometer), water temp gauge. have receipts for everything.Truck has a 6 position TS tuner on it, and it was installed during the swap, truck was all stock before. Truck has 180,000 miles on before swap and ive probably put 5000-10,000 on it since swap.77 Cab never had A/C, but heat works great.Truck has dual tanks but a filler door was never installed in the front half of the bed so the filler neck is under the truck and i dont use the front tank, it can be used, the switch is wired up to switch tanks and it does work.None of the gauges in the stock dash works. The truck doesnt have a speedometer or tachometer. Only functioning gauges are boost, pyrometer, and water temp.Truck doesnt use a key to start, it has two switches, one controls the original 77 cab components, another switch controls the 7.3 powerstroke diesel computers, and it has a push button starter. I do have two keys for the doors.
Truck was driven to ocean city MD in may, 5 hrs there, 5 hrs back, no issues...It gets driven atleast once a week, just need funds for another project.Passenger side front tire has a flat spot and rides rough at 65MPH, fine below or above that speed. The two front tires have tons of tread, no dry rot but were under a truck in a field for over a yr and the passenger one was flat. They hold are fine but it was off the bead.Rear tires have 1/4" tread.Exhaust is only 3-4 feet long and is not legal. I have antique VA tags on it so no state inspection in Virginia is required. I will deliver the truck after full payment within 200 miles for an extra 100$.The wiring on the truck is by far the worse looking of the swap but it all functions flawless.Any questions please ask before bidding.
