Description:
1970 Ford Bronco
1970 Ford Early BroncoFord V8 with 4spd manual Trans. Starts right up and idles great with Holly carb and electric choke. Shifts well and the clutch is smooth. Not sure which model 4spd it is, but I think it's likely the NP435. 1st is a granny low gear. There is a small oil leak that looks like it's coming from the rear of the transmission, but I can't really tell for sure.
The tires are 35" Mud Terrains which have about 80%+ tread, on Ultra wheels. And this Bronco DOES have Power Steering, so they're easy to turn. The lift and suspension seem to be newer,(previous owner put on). It rides well and tracks down the road straight at 40-50mph.
Brakes are non powered drum, but adjusted well and it stops good.
The floor pans have been replaced, so no rust issues there anymore. Overall, it's a solid rig that's ready for a restoration. It's currently in primer, but needs more final body work before paint. All of the glass is in good shape along with the seals. The hard top isn't rusted out around the top portion like so many of these you see.In fact overall, this Bronco is really pretty solid when it comes to rust....
Paint the outside, finish off the interior, add rear flares and you'll have a $25-35k Bronco!
Original paint color per the VIN tag is Ford Blue by the way.Clean title.
