1972 Ford Ranchero FREE SHIPPING!
1972 Ford Ranchero (4x4): The Ford Ranchero is a coupe utility that was produced by Ford between 1957 and 1979. Unlike a pickup truck, the Ranchero was adapted from a two-door station wagon platform that integrated the cab and cargo bed into the body. A total of 508,355 units were produced during the model's production run. It was adapted from full-sized, compact, and intermediate automobiles sold by Ford for the North American market. The Ranchero was the first postwar American vehicle of its type adapted from a popular sedan from the factory. It combined the sleek looks of a sedan with the utility of a light-duty pickup truck. In 1972, a radical change occurred in the Torino and Ranchero lines. The sleek, pointy look of the previous year's model was replaced with a larger, heavier design. Most prominent was a wide semi-oval grille reminiscent of a jet intake and a new body-on-frame design. This listing is short on history and big on "meat"! Why? Because this is going to be the coolest 4x4 in your town. If it's not.... move! If your spouse doesn't think it's awesome, don't sweat it, you'll have no problem lining up dates with this beast. Doesn't fit in your garage ...who cares... park this monster on the roof. Lets be honest with each other. You are looking at these pictures, reading this ad and doing everything you can to remember your PayPal password so you can be first to leave a deposit on this bad boy. I know it, your quickly figuring it out, and we're about to have a glorious man-bonding experience when you buy this Ranchero. Don't spoil our precious moment together by trying to convince me you can build a "twin" for this kind of money ...because you can't for under $30k. While you are digging for that PayPal password, I've listed some of the fantastical life experiences you are about to have in this Ranchero ...
- Asking the valet to hold you a spot up front at a 5 star restaurant
- Driving off after your wedding (next wedding ... if current spouse is not a Monster Ranchero fan!)
- Owning this coolest mobile billboard for your business and actually writing off all this fun to Uncle Sam
- Attracting a dozen pretty southern girls everywhere you go and having room in the bed to give them all a ride
- Signing more autographs than Dale Jr at the next Nascar event
- Showing up to your high school reunion in a manner that shows you really "made it far" in life
- Being a Rockstar at every single tailgate party anywhere, any sport, and any level
- Inventing your own Super Hero and already having your sick, new crime fighting vehicle
- Picking up your overly-embarrassed teen at school or the mall ...surprise!
- Pretending to be Santa from "The South" pole next December
It's definitely true that you only live once! For what you were about to waste on some rusty old Jeep when you first got on the internet today gets you this same awesome Ranchero. Why only $15k? I've been offered that 3 times and turned it down because my little kids like it more than all the other 40 cars in the warehouse. But, I've had my fun and it's time to pass the torch. I've also got a replacement toy that will help dry their tears when I tell them "Monster Ranchero ran away from home". The 3 simple options available are; you pay $15,988 and I ship it to you at my expense, you pay $15k and handle shipping yourself, or I keep it. With the fun factor and price negotion clarified, lets discuss this vehicle in specifics. Overall, this classic Ford is pretty solid. It sits on a modified Bronco frame/suspension and a lot of money was put into doing it right. It has been in TX since being build so there is no major rust, is drives good even at highway speed, and all the major components function like they should. I've personally put about 200 miles on the truck with no issues. We recently re-wired the lights on the roof bar, installed a new battery and performed a regular service. The exhaust was cut off to make it sound as tough as it looks but we kept it and you are welcome to have it. Additional features and options include; 351 V8, Auto, 4x4 (4WD), Locking Hubs, GT Grant Steering Wheel, Kenwood AM/FM/Cassette (not working), Chrome Bumpers, Warn Winch (model 8274), Roll Bar, Chrome Fog Lights (4), Spray-in Bedliner, Tinted Glass, Tow Package, 15" Chrome Wheels, and General Grabber 35 x 12.50 Tires!
