Annabelle: 1966 Mustang Convertible
1966 Ford Mustang
I recently had the car inspected by a mechanic who gave me the full run down.
Her name is Annabelle and she's been my baby for 15 years. I originally purchased this Ford 1966 Mustang from Cooper Classics in Manhattan. While she can use some work, she still looks great and runs beautifully.
The engine is in good shape with some original parts replaced. She is originally a California car so she has the emission controls in place. The roof is a power top that lowers effortlessly, there is a stereo system (which can be easily removed) with radio/cassette/6 disc cd player, and I've installed power steering, power disc breaks, and new wheels to make for a smoother ride. The structure of the car is in great shape. The frame rails, chassis, and torque box are all solid.
Now for some of the defects. There are nicks and scratches in the paint and minor rust spots on the bumper, fender and door panel. There are a few small rust holes in the floor pans but these can be patched. The interior could use new side panels, some paint touch ups and a good detailing. In addition, she needs a new soft top.
Looking for someone who can give Annabelle a new home! Please get in touch if you have any questions at all.
